Camp Meriwether Hullaballoo Song Lyrics

Camp Meriwether, Cascade Pacific Council

Opening Verse:
Our camps a hullabaloo
To it, we will be true
Love it, you bet we do

Chorus:
I'm telling you boom boom boom
And in our memories
Dear to our hearts will be
Camp Meriwether (Jump here with fist up)
Sure to shine all of the time

Each of the 18 campsites has it's own verse.  Feel free to comment if you know one that isn't listed!

Baden Powell:
Baden Powell is our name
Father of our scouting fame
We are really glad we came!

Buccaneer*:
We are Scouts from Buccaneer
We will never show our fear
So let's give a mighty cheer!

Chinook:
We are the Chinook tribe
Fishers of the ocean side
Pinot ponies we shall ride!

Council Bluff:
We are from Council Bluff
Learning lots of scouting stuff
We will never learn enough!

Lookout*:
We are the lookout troop
And we will never stoop
to any other troop!

Mandan*:
We are the Mandan Tribe
And we will tan your hide
If you will step inside!

Ordway:
Sergeant Ordway traveled west
along with Lewis and the rest
Put our spirits to the test!

Pirates*:
We are the pirates bold
Brave as the days of old
With victories untold!

Shoshone*:
We shone shoshone tribe
Sacagawea was our guide
The navajo were by our side!

Viking*:
Hearty Viking troop are we
Searchers of the land and sea
Warriors we will always be!

  7. Hey I went to camp Meriwether for my first Boy Scout camp and I am sad to say this year will be my last year at camp meriwether. I am an Eagle Scout. I am very excited and sad that I am going to camp meriwether this year to enjoy what I experienced my first year in Boy Scouts again. Also I clearly remember the hullabaloo song and I am excited to go crazy and sing it again. Also thank you for the lyrics, now I can sing it on my way to camp next week.
